Year 3 Week Beginning 18th May Timetable

Complete 15 minutes of TT Rockstars, 30 minutes of mathletics (your usernames have been emailed to you)   & 30 minutes of Bedrock daily

Every morning at 9AM complete PE with Joe Wicks on Youtube

Spanish – Complete the lesson 6 sheet.

Monday

English - Read the story A Tale of Two Feathers, complete Monday’s comprehension task.

  2. Summer Term- Week 5 (the link at the top of the page), lesson one is called ‘Unit and non-unit fractions.
  3. There is a video to watch. You will have to pause the video when it tells you to complete a question
  4. Complete the questions on paper and send a photo to your teacher or write directly onto an email/ word document. (Don’t worry if it asks you to shade or match something just show the answer the best way you can).

Science Read the Functions of a Skeleton PowerPoint and complete the Functions of a Skeleton Activity sheet.

Tuesday

English – Read the story A Tale of Two Feathers, complete Tuesday’s comprehension task. Complete Grammar Hammer sheet for Tuesday.

Maths- See Monday’s maths instructions on how to access the White Rose website. Complete lesson two- ‘Making the whole’.

History – Read the Stone Age Houses PowerPoint and then draw your own Stone Age house and colour it in.

Wednesday

English – Read the story A Tale of Two Feathers, complete Wednesday’s comprehension. Start story map – retell the story of A Tale of Two Feathers.

Maths- See Monday’s maths instructions on how to access the White Rose website. Complete lesson two- ‘Tenths.

Science – Complete the Animals Including Humans Wordsearch

Thursday

English – Write your story, use your story map. Try to include inverted commas for speech (“ “) and conjunctions (because, when even though, very) Research on google if you are unsure how to use these.

Maths- See Monday’s maths instructions on how to access the White Rose website. Complete lesson two- ‘Counting in tenths’.

History – Make your own 3D Stone Age Shelter, using either the activity sheet or create our own. You could also make some plasticine or paper people and animals to go with it.

Friday

English – Check and edit your story. Complete book review. You could also draw a picture which represents the story of A Tale of Two Feathers.

Maths- See Monday’s maths instructions on how to access the White Rose website. Maths challenge

History – Read the Stone Age Food PowerPoint and design a menu for Stone Age people based on what you have read.
