Please place all work produced so far into a PowerPoint display – this includes annotations, appraisals, mind-maps, ideas. Upload on to the Teams page under ‘Work Review.’

w/c 15/06/20 – 13/07/20

Your teachers will be providing you formal feedback and assessment marks – this is in addition to your usual feedback format. Continue to:

  • Research your theme – read articles, watch documentaries, research artists and art movements/art history - fully engross yourselves within your themes.
  • Make sure you have read the exemplar essays, schedule and supporting documents from Mrs Roberts – familiarise yourselves with hand-in dates (Mrs Roberts is your contact for your essays).
  • Develop and refine – ensure you are working on advice and feedback provided in our virtual meeting. Think bigger, bolder, braver.
  • Utilise your time – are you ensuring you are putting in the recommended hours? Your art packs should enable you to be more ambitious with your work.
  • Wednesday check-in - Continue to email your 3 teachers, attach images of your work, ask questions, provide us information about what you have been completing that week – we are always here to support.

 

Year 12 into 13 Photography - Term 6:

  • Research your theme – read articles, watch documentaries, research artists and photographers, research and reflect on art movements/history - fully engross yourselves within your themes.
  • Make sure you have read the exemplar essays, schedule and supporting documents from Miss Tutton – familiarise yourselves with hand-in dates. DO NOT IGNORE THIS – your essay sits in tandem with your P.I.
  • Develop and refine – ensure you are working on advice and feedback provided in our virtual meeting and individual feedback. Contact photographers, think creatively, branch off and inject some excitement into your work.
  • Utilise your time – are you ensuring you are putting in the recommended hours every week?
  • Tuesday check-in - Continue to email your 2 teachers, attach images of your work/online portfolios, ask questions, provide us information about what you have been completing that week – we are always here to support.
  • Look up free editing apps and alternative ways of working – now could be the time to experiment with film-making?
