Year 8 pupils enjoyed a trip to the Royal Opera House on 9th January 2015.
49 year 8 pupils were taken out of their comfort zone and experienced a cultural experience to inspire and excite! Students were treated to "Un Ballo in Maschera" an opera in 3 acts written by the Guiseppe Verdi. The Royal Opera house is world renouned and the performers are the very best in their profession. Pupils watched an opera sang in Italian (with English subtitles) staged in the majestic Opera house in seats that can often cost over £100 per ticket. The ice cream in the interval also seemed to be a key success?

- “I enjoyed the Opra trip and thought It was very interesting. I also enjoyed being able to see all the different instruments and how they were used.”
